Author. Advisor. Speaker.

I help business owners make clearer decisions, and I write books about the lives we build along the way.

I’m Mea Brown

For more than two decades, I've worked alongside business owners, entrepreneurs, and leadership teams navigating growth, complexity, and high-stakes decisions as a strategist, marketer, and advisor.

Today, that work continues in two forms. I advise a select group of business owners and leadership teams directly, and I write books that bring those same ideas- clarity, reinvention, leadership, and meaningful work to a wider audience.

I live in Arizona with my husband Steve, where together we're building Copper & Vine Living, a family of creative ventures rooted in thoughtful living and good work, and Copper & Vine Studio, our publishing arm that helps established businesses turn expertise into authority through writing.

Current Work

My work today spans several connected areas, each rooted in thoughtful growth, clarity, creativity, and intentional living.

Strategic Advisory

Working hard on the wrong problem still looks like progress. I work directly with business owners and leadership teams to find the real issue, clarify priorities, and build a path forward. Limited engagements, by design. [Learn About Advisory →]

Speaking & Collaborations

I speak to organizations, leadership groups, and business audiences on the Leadership Differential, reinvention, and building businesses that support the lives we actually want.

For speaking engagements, media inquiries, podcasts, collaborations, or select advisory opportunities, I'd love to connect.

Books & Writing

Books have always been one of the deepest expressions of my work.

Through nonfiction, essays, and future fiction projects, I write about reinvention, personal growth, leadership, entrepreneurship, creativity, resilience, and the evolving relationship between ambition and a well-lived life.

My hope is simple: to help readers think more clearly, live more intentionally, and move forward with greater confidence, courage, and purpose.

Copper and Vine Living | Copper and Vine Studio

Alongside my husband Steve, I'm building Copper & Vine Living, the home for the ventures, projects, and adventures we're creating together. It includes Copper & Vine Studio, our publishing arm helping established businesses turn expertise into authority through writing; Phantom Classics, Steve's classic car venture; and the new projects we're always dreaming up at the intersection of craftsmanship, hospitality, and thoughtful living.

A Different Way of Building

For much of my life, I believed success was about building more. More goals, more growth, more accomplishments, and more responsibility. Over time, I've come to believe something different.

The most meaningful things we build aren't only businesses and careers, though I still love that work deeply. They're also relationships, creative pursuits, traditions, communities, and homes. Lives that reflect what matters most.

Today, my work lives at the intersection of business, leadership, creativity, and thoughtful living. Whether I'm advising a business owner through a hard decision, writing a book, sharing an essay, or speaking with a group, I'm interested in one question:

How do we build things, businesses, and lives that feel both successful and meaningful?

The Journal

The Journal is where ideas take shape.

Part notebook, part reflection, and part conversation, these essays explore business, leadership, creativity, family, entrepreneurship, personal growth, thoughtful living, and the lessons that emerge when we slow down long enough to pay attention.

Some entries begin with a question. Others begin with a story. All are part of an ongoing exploration of what it means to build a meaningful life.
