You've been working hard. But on what, exactly?
Strategic advisory for business owners and leadership teams who are tired of solving symptoms.
Most leaders I meet aren't short on effort. They're short on clarity. The business is busy, the team is working, the problems keep getting "solved", and somehow the same issues keep coming back wearing different clothes.
That's because working hard on the wrong thing still looks exactly like progress. Until you learn to tell the difference.
How I Work
I work with a small number of business owners and leadership teams at a time. My approach is built on the Leadership Differential, the diagnostic discipline I developed over two decades of advisory work and wrote about in my book Not So Fast. It's a practical method for separating the problem presenting itself from the deeper issue driving it.
Engagements typically look like one of these:
The Clarity Session — A focused working session (half-day or full-day) to diagnose what's actually going on, pressure-test your current thinking, and leave with clear priorities. Best for a specific decision, a stuck initiative, or a "something's off, and I can't name it" feeling.
Ongoing Advisory — A standing relationship (monthly or quarterly) where I serve as an outside strategic voice for you and your leadership team. Best for owners navigating growth, transition, succession, or sustained complexity.
Project-Based Strategy — Defined-scope work on a specific challenge, market positioning, operational structure, communication strategy, or organizational change. Best for when you know the problem and need experienced hands on the plan.
Who This Is For
Small business owners, founders, executives, and leadership teams. Typically established businesses navigating growth, change, complexity, or a decision that matters. My background spans executive leadership, operations, marketing strategy, hospitality, publishing, and advisory work across corporate, nonprofit, and founder-led environments, including serving as Director of Sales and Marketing for a AAA Four Diamond resort and Vice President of Operations for A Chamber of Commerce.
Who This Isn’t For
If you're looking for someone to validate a decision you've already made, or a consultant who'll hand you a binder and disappear, we're probably not a fit. I ask hard questions. That's the job.

WHY WORK WITH ME
My background spans executive leadership, operations, business ownership, communications strategy, and high-level advisory work across corporate, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial environments. For more than two decades, I've worked alongside business owners, executives, and leadership teams navigating growth, complexity, and change.
And the longer I've done this work, the more clearly I've seen what separates the leaders who thrive from those who stall: it's rarely effort. It's whether the business they're running still fits the life they're building. Many owners are successful by every external measure, yet quietly carrying businesses, structures, and expectations that no longer serve where they're headed.
That's the work I do. Strategy, operational clarity, and hard decisions, always in service of a business that supports your life, not one that consumes it.
Because the businesses we build should fit who we've become.
Because meaningful work should support your life — not consume it.
And the businesses we build should fit who we’ve become.
